Open Doors Academy is seeking a Grants Manager to be responsible for helping grow the organization's base of funding, meet donor expectations, and ensure accurate and complete data about the organization’s activities and impact. In addition to writing and submitting grant proposals, this position will also research potential new sources of funding and build relationships to ensure that ODA has clarity regarding proposal and post-award expectations.

What is the BVU Encore Fellows Program?

The BVU Encore Fellow Program matches skilled retired or semi-retired professionals with a local nonprofit for a year-long engagement. Fellows generally have 15+ years of significant professional achievement. The Fellowship engagement is for a total of 1,000 hours (usually half-time for a year). The fellows receive a $20,000 stipend.

BVU Encore Fellow - Strategic Growth and Implementation

Open Doors Academy is seeking an individual who can work with us to explore and analyze options for agency expansion future growth. A number of opportunities are available to us (starting programs at the elementary school level, serving more schools, serving more students within a school, establishing a training program for other professionals, etc.) ODA is seeking an individual with experience in strategic growth and development of business plans to evaluate our options (including developing associated business plans) and assist the Board and staff in navigating the appropriate path forward.

BVU Encore Fellow - Research and Innovation Team Leader

Open Doors Academy is seeking an Encore Fellow to develop a research and innovation team focused on: strengthening overall organization analytics, creating systems for reporting information both into the organization and externally to stakeholders, leveraging skill sets to serve as a knowledge hub for educational support systems for kids, and preparing the organization to undergo a randomized control study, with the ultimate goal being to obtain recognition through the What Works Clearing House and the US Department of Education.
