Miss Dios joined the Open Doors Academy staff in August 2016. She previously worked at the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America’s Northeast Ohio Chapter as a Special Events Coordinator.
Rebecca is a graduate of Kent State University where she majored in Speech Pathology and Audiology while minoring in Gerontology and Nonprofit Studies. She was actively involved in many extracurricular clubs including the Oscar Ritchie Scholars Guild, Operation Smile, and her sorority Alpha Xi Delta. Rebecca quickly took on leadership roles in her sorority including the Philanthropy Assistant and later becoming the President of her chapter with over 200 members.
Throughout her life Rebecca has always had a passion of helping others. She has an extensive volunteer background with organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Association, Autism Speaks, University Hospitals, Camp Cheerful, and many other organizations. As soon as Rebecca heard about Open Doors Academy she was inspired by the mission and wanted to be a part of it.
In her free time Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, and exploring all Cleveland has to offer. She also loves to travel, bake, and dance.
