Chris Smith, Mentoring Coach

Chris Smith joined the Open Doors Team in February, 2010.  He is currently serving as Mentoring Coach at our Roxboro Site.  Prior to employment with Open Doors, Chris worked as an Intellectual Property Assistant and Market Research Analyst for AlphaMicron, Inc.

Chris received his BA in early childhood education from the University of Toledo and a Master's of Public Administration from Kent State University with a concentration in management.   Chris was also a student entrepreneur while attending the University of Toledo.  During that time he completed several collegiate business plan competitions across the nation and later was issued a patent for an invention.

Chris is an advocate for young entrepreneurs and innovators and believes that every young person has something special to share with the world.
