Open Doors Forest Park Site opened in October, 2009.  In the beginning of 2007, A close relative of an employee of Open Doors also happened to serve as a teacher at Forest Park Middle School.  Upon learning of the program, she took it back to her Principal and proposed the opportunity for Open Doors to have a site at the Middle School.  Charlie Smialek, School Principal at the time, jumped on board and the Euclid School District, put 100% of their support behind the initiative!  Open Doors began laying the groundwork for expansion and in 2009 received 5 years of capacity-building programming support to Open the Forest Park Site!  Today, 30 students actively participate in the program!
