Holiday Adopt a Family
Give a Helping Hand this Holiday Season

Did You Know?
88% of our students are living in low-income households, struggling to make ends meet. Of those students 67% of them make under $18,000 a year for a family of four, which is considered extreme poverty.
In a time where hope is needed and the gift of giving to others is most critical, we ask that you consider adopting an Open Doors Family for the Holidays.
DETAILS:
-
We have families ranging from 4 people to 13 in a single family, you can choose the size of the family you adopt
-
We are asking that donors provide each child with 2 "needs" and 1 "want" from their wish list and our parents with two items they need for their home or selves. If people want to do more they are welcome to do so, but it is not required.
How Does It Work?
Once you are assigned a family, you will be provided a holiday wish list of items that are needed or wanted. You can designate out responsibilities amongst your team or staff as you wish. All gifts should be wrapped with the child's/ parent's name on them. All items need to be delivered to the Open Doors Administrative Offices no later than Thursday, December 16th, 2010.
We allow families the decision to personally deliver their gifts on the 20th and 21st of December or to have them pick them up in our offices. Since many of our families have small children who still wait for Santa Claus it works best for them to pick them up in our office. If you would be interested in helping deliver gifts or help families who pick them up at our offices on the 20th and 21st, please let us know.
If you or your company would like to get involved, please fill out the form below or call our administrative offices at (216) 229-1900.
