Ronnie Bryant, Program Coordinator

Ronnie Bryant is originally from Akron, Ohio and currently resides in Mayfield Heights.  He holds a minor in counseling, specializing in drug and alcohol dependency and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Akron.  During Ronnie's enrollment at the University of Akron he was a 4-year recipient of the Purnell-Fort Academic Scholarship award.  Ronnie has created support groups, facilitated youth and adult community based programs, and taught comprehensive education in mRonnie Bryantultiple school districts in both the Cleveland and Akron areas.  In addition, he was afforded the privilege to be an advocate for Summit County youth which entailed specializing in problem solving, group therapy, job training, image awareness and self-esteem enhancement.  Over the past 11 years, Ronnie has had the unique honor to work alongside one of Cleveland's biggest youth trail blazers, Coach Ted Ginn, Sr.  The past 11 years of coaching both track and football allows Ronnie the opportunity to implement core values and principles to countless young men, their communities and their families as well.  Such work also allows Ronnie the chance to see youth for exactly who they are and not just what they bring to the track and/or football field.  Ronnie firmly believes that “youth are not as concerned about how much you know as they are about how much you care about them.”

Ronnie has also been both diligent and adamant in being a great and positive role model for his own two sons who are both very dear to his heart.

Ronnie adamantly insists that his purpose and mission on this earth is to assist youth in believing in themselves.  He declares to each youth who crosses his path:  "Never give up on your dreams, even if you have the world against you...you are only as good as you think you are."
