Stephanie Mendel, LISW, Clinical Social Worker
Stephanie Mendel is the Clinical Social Worker for Open Doors Academy. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker and has a master's degree in Social Science Administration from Case Western Reserve University. Her bachelor's degree is in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education from Towson State University.
Stephanie has over 20 years experience as a Family and Child Therapist in outpatient treatment and as a clinical supervisor in community mental health centers and a residential treatment center. Her area of expertise is in play therapy.
Stephanie came to Open Doors Academy because it allows her to blend her interests in working with school aged youth in an after school setting.
Stephanie's interests include spending time with family, friends, and pets.
