Ms. Matthews began her work at ODA as Assistant Coordinator at Orchard STEM. Currently, she works as a Coordinator at Roxboro Middle School / St. Paul’s Campus. Celia received her Bachelor’s degree from Earlham College in English with a minor in Creative Writing.

Prior to working at ODA, Celia served as Coordinator and Writing Consultant within the Earlham College Library. She believes in the power of a good narrative and is very passionate about story telling and writing. To her, our lives are novels where we are the author and main character. Celia thinks it is especially important to share this message to the youth. She is very happy to be a part of the ODA family where she can inform young people of the power they hold.  

In her free time, Celia likes to do anything creative. On any given weekend, you can find her completing one of her several DIY projects, finishing a novel or starting a new painting.
