Delisa Stacy joined Open Doors Academy in October 2020 as a In-Person Coordinator. Delisa was previously a Licensed Insurance Agent for Progressive Insurance Company. Prior to that, she was a long-term substitute teacher in Suffolk, Virginia. Delisa is originally from Chesapeake County in Virginia, but she was born in Chicago. After she got married in June 2018, she moved to Ohio with her husband, so that they could further their careers.
Improving the community one child at a time is a goal Delisa has always had. The first step to that goal was getting her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Southern New Hampshire University. Today, she is working on her Master’s Degree in School Counseling at Cleveland State University. During her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and video chatting all her family back in Virginia.
Delisa appreciates the opportunity that ODA has given her to push toward her goals and to impact the lives of the scholars, one child at a time.
