Geniese Terrell is a fourteen year early childhood educator, who began striving to make a difference in the life of a child at the age of 15. She is one of the newest staff members of Open Doors Academy. Ms. Terrell is currently a campus coordinator at Euclid Central Middle School. She holds a B.A. in Early Childhood Education Administration from Ashford University. She’s driven to help students overcome barriers that impact their learning through her works with various nonprofit organizations in the Greater Cleveland area. In 2007, Ms. Terrell received one of the top curriculum design award from Family Career and Community Leaders of America organization in lesson planning. She also presented at state level on topics including Cognitive Development and Social and Emotional Readiness. In Ms. Terrell’s downtime, she enjoys walking her Pomeranian dogs and planting in her garden.
