Education is a second career for Ms. Madden who previously worked for 20+ years in the advertising field as a writer. She is a graduate of the distinguished Master Of Urban Secondary Teaching (MUST) Residency Program at Cleveland State University where she did her student teaching at Facing History New Tech, a Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) high school.

In her time at ODA, she has worked as a program coordinator, executive assistant to the CEO, and now as office manager.

Ms. Madden joined Open Doors Academy in October 2018 because she believes in the ODA mission to “Protect, Inspire, Nurture, and Challenge adolescents to reach their full potential” and actually gets to see it in action through her work with the programming department. She likes to read, write, garden, and cook.
