
Le’Aunna Rhodes was born and raised in Springfield, OH. She began working with Open Doors Academy in May 2019 as the Campus Coordinator at Monticello Middle School. Prior to working with ODA, Le’Aunna spent over two years in Cleveland, Ohio working for a non-profit organization, where she served as a live-in residential counselor working with youth. Soon after that, she ran a before and aftercare program serving grades K-5th for the YMCA.
Ms. Rhodes is a graduate of Notre Dame College, where she studied Political Science and Criminal Justice. While at Notre Dame College, Le’Aunna stayed busy as an active member around campus. She was a Resident Assistant for 3 years, where she spent her time building community in the resident halls and around campus. She hosted many programs and floor meetings as well. Le’Aunna loved being an advocate and a safety net for her residents.
When not engaged with ODA scholars, Le’Aunna enjoys a good book, a good laugh, and a good time. She is very active in sports and loves spending quality time with her family and friends.
