Richard Barnes started with ODA in January 2022. He is currently a Campus Coordinator at AB Hart elementary school.

He graduated from Cleveland State University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Communication management.

Previously, Richard worked with MyCom as a regional coordinator responsible for connecting youth and families to resources and OST programs in the East Cleveland & Collinwood neighborhoods. Richard believes every child has the potential to be great, especially when they have the proper support around them.

When not working, Richard is a youth leader and singer at his church. He loves to create music of various genres, playing sports, and spending time with family. He also tells hilarious dad jokes.
