Steve Shergalis has worked as a senior level administrator in a wide variety of K-12 school districts in his 29 years in public education. His experience has included a strong emphasis on business operations, human resources, and encouraging the development of organizational leadership capabilities. In his many leadership roles, he has maintained a consistent focus on helping all public school employees enthusiastically contribute to, and feel responsible for, the achievement of educational excellence.
In addition to being certified as an accredited trainer by the Hay Group, a Boston based organizational consulting firm with worldwide expertise, Mr. Shergalis received a Bachelor of Science degree from Kent State University and a Master’s in Educational Administration from Ashland University. He has also participated in the Harvard University Executive Leadership Program for Educators and the Case Western Reserve University Leadership Deep Dive Program. Prior to his career in education, Mr. Shergalis obtained a degree in architecture and was a registered architect in the State of Ohio, specializing in educational facility planning.
