Join us under the tent for our biggest fundraising event of the year to support our scholars.

We'll celebrate together on the banks of the beautiful Cuyahoga River with a riverfront clambake dinner, an open bar, live music, and the presentation of our Luminary Award to Superintendent of Lima City Schools, Jill Ackerman.

The Luminary Award is given to a community leader in Ohio who has had an invaluable impact on out-of-school time learning. Jill has spent her 36 year career passionately advocating for youth and understands that learning happens inside and outside of school. Jill keeps kids at the center of the conversations and her decisions. She is decisive, effective, humble, and knows how to get things done. She brings out the best in us and our community. Join us in celebrating Jill and her contributions to our community at our Annual Benefit Clambake.

Which prize has your name on it?

Winners do not need to be present at the clambake! Drawing will take place at 8 p.m. on October 26, 2024. Winners will be contacted by ODA’s Advancement team to arrange pick up or delivery within our service area. Only 200 tickets for each prize will be sold!
