Angelina Ferguson-Pryor

Angelina Ferguson-Pryor

Director of Middle School Programs

Angelina Ferguson-Pryor joined Open Doors Academy February 2026. She is a proud Cleveland, Ohio native with both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Health Science from Cleveland State University. Before transitioning into education and workforce development, Angelina spent many years serving the community as a certified Emergency Medical Technician. Angelina Ferguson-Pryor joined Open Doors Academy February 2026. She is a proud Cleveland, Ohio native with both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Health Science from Cleveland State University.

Before transitioning into education and workforce development, Angelina spent many years serving the community as a certified Emergency Medical Technician. She went on to teach at several local colleges for eight years and most recently served as the Director of Career Readiness for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, where she connected scholars to high-quality, career-connected learning experiences.

Angelina was drawn to ODA’s mission of being 100% for kids and creating meaningful pathways for their success. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, binging true crime podcasts and documentaries, reading, and shopping. She is deeply committed to expanding opportunities for youth and strengthening families and communities through purposeful, student??'centered work.

Arion Jackson is passionate about supporting the holistic growth and development of children. Throughout her career, she has created and implemented plans that have strengthened students’ behavioral, social, and emotional well-being.

Guided by the principles of Family, Faith, and Foundation, Arion believes deeply in nurturing children beyond academics. Her experience in both special education and traditional school settings has taught her that every child’s path to success is unique. This perspective fuels her commitment to providing creative, compassionate, and individualized support to children and their families—especially in the areas of mental, emotional, and behavioral health.

Arion describes herself as calm, patient, and easygoing—qualities that serve her well in her work with young people. Outside of her professional life, she is a proud first-time mom to her son, Zaiden, and loves spending time with family and friends. A former Division I athlete, she still enjoys playing basketball and staying active. Those who know her best describe her as funny, kind, thoughtful, and faith-filled.
