Mansfield Middle School

Kim Robare is our Interim Director of Programs who oversees all our program managers and also serves as the program manager for all our high school programs. Kim comes to ODA from a 14-year career in higher education as the Dean of Students at Lake Erie College. Originally from Massachusetts, she received her bachelor's degree from Regis College in Weston and her master's degree in education from Lake Erie College. An educator at her core, Kim’s passion for scholar development goes beyond the classroom, including life skills, experiences and opportunities for anyone to educate and improve themselves.

When not working, Kim enjoys movies and tv shows with her husband, Mike and three daughters.

Miatta Curry serves as the Program Coordinator for Mansfield Middle School and has been a valued member of Open Doors Academy for four years. A graduate of Mansfield Senior High School, she earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Miatta is also the proud mother of two children – one in high school and one in college – both of whom have successfully participated in the program.

In addition to her role as Program Coordinator, Miatta serves as a Family Liaison, Intervention Specialist, and OCC Leadership Advisor. She is dedicated to supporting families throughout the Mansfield community, helping them recognize their strengths and connect with valuable resources. Through her work, Miatta fosters school pride and develops the next generation of student leaders, empowering scholars to understand that their voices matter.

Miatta brings patience, consistency, and compassion to the scholars and families she serves. She is proud to be part of the Open Doors Academy team.
