Did you know we’re all made of stardust?
Our scholars learned an awe-inspiring truth during our recent Night at the Museum with the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. The annual event brought together families, scholars and staff for a night of fun, food, and exploration.
ODA's Night at the Museum was the first of several Family Nights through the year. The event provides families an opportunity to connect with each other and underscores the importance of ODA's unique community. Families had access to the entire museum, viewing precious metals under a microscope, diving into the history of our fragile planet, and even coming face to face with taxidermied creatures from across the globe.
Scholars and siblings stepped into the planetarium for a guided journey across galaxies, learned how stars form, and discovered that elements from distant constellations can be found in every human being.
Ava, a Euclid Middle School scholar, summed up her excitement. “I like the planetarium because I really like astronomy. I’ve always been fascinated by the stars.”
Thank to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History for hosting us! We can't wait to come back.
