Daziel Roman joined the Open Doors Academy team in 2021. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, he attended Cleveland metro schools and graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Biology.
After graduation, he worked with the Cleveland Cavaliers in the retail department for 2 years and still occasionally works weekend concerts. He also worked with Cleveland metro schools for 2 years as a paraprofessional, supporting scholars in grades K-2 with cognitive disabilities. During his time with Cleveland metro schools, he also was the assistant baseball coach for the John Hay Hornets and served as a coach for the Cleveland Indians during the 2021 youth summer development camps.
Daziel has a passion for giving back to the community and leading the youth in a positive direction. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friend, going to the gym to work out, and investing in self development to help himself and the people around him.
