ODA draws on its 30 years of experience to help other out-of-school time providers develop the best possible programs in their communities.
ODA trains providers across the state to ensure all of Ohio’s children have access to the highest quality of afterschool programming.
Through our Center for Out-of-School Advancement (COSA), ODA offers in-person and virtual trainings for program managers on topics such as social-emotional learning, family engagement, measuring impact, summer programs, and sustainability. In 2021, 471 out-of-school time professionals attended our two-day virtual conference.
ODA founded COSA in 2018 to spearhead our efforts to expand access to and improve the quality of out-of-school time programming across the state. To learn more about COSA about our statewide training opportunities, visit our website here.
